Attendance for every office
Attendance that can't be faked.
One tap on the phone, and every decision on the server.
Employees check in and out with one tap on their own phone, and the server confirms they are really at the office, without tracking anyone.
Follow Alex, an example, through one check-in, from the door to the register.
The dots and small bots are an animation, and no AI decides anyone's attendance.
Alex arrives at the office.
The right place
The phone is on the office's Wi-Fi router or internet address, or inside its area on the map, as each office chooses.
On the office network
Alex opens OneTap and taps once.
One tap
The person taps once and confirms with Face ID or a fingerprint.
Alex's phone asks for a face or a fingerprint.
The right person
Face ID or a fingerprint unlocks a key held in the phone's secure hardware, for each check-in.
Unlocked with Face ID
The server checks that this is the phone linked to Alex.
The right phone
Apple App Attest or Google Play Integrity shows it is a genuine app on the one phone linked to this person.
Genuine linked phone
The server reads its own clock, never the phone's.
The right moment
The server's own time and a single-use challenge mean a check-in can't be replayed or back-dated.
Server time
These dots show the time on your own device, and a check-in only ever uses the server's.
Every check goes on the record.
A record of every check
Each check-in stores which checks passed, and the person sees the result on the screen.
- On the office network
- Unlocked with Face ID
- Genuine linked phone
- Server time
Checked in at 9:12 AM
And the record stops there.
Where the line is
Your people can read exactly what is kept about them, and what never is.
What OneTap collects
- Check-in and check-out times as the server records them, the office matched, and which checks passed.
- When a person checks in or out, the office Wi-Fi router's ID and name, and the public address of the request.
- At an office with an area set, how far the phone was from the office and how accurate that reading was, never its position.
What OneTap never does
- No location trail OneTap keeps no location history and no coordinates of people.
- No biometrics Face ID and fingerprints stay on the phone, and OneTap receives only a signature.
- No selling of data OneTap doesn't sell data, use it for advertising or profile your people.
Some mornings, something doesn't add up.
When a check doesn't pass
- Doubtful check-ins and failed check-outs go to the admins' review queue, instead of being accepted or refused silently.
- Any edit to attendance needs a reason, and stays in the audit trail.
- A new phone needs an admin's approval, so a colleague's phone can't stand in for someone.
Sent for review
Not on the office network
By the time Alex sits down, the company can see it.
